Intermediate Care Or Ms/Tele Rn

Location: Grant Medical Center

Unit: Intermediate Care Units and Medical Surgical Units

Facility: Grant Medical Center (Level I trauma)

Duration: 10 weeks

Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm-7:00 am, Every other weekend required and some holidays possible.

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Dress Code: Navy Blue Scrubs

Minimal requirements:

• ACLS, BLS
• 1.5 years of experience
• Must be able to read and interpret Telemetry independently.
• Trauma center/ large hospital experience strongly preferred
• 400+ bed level I trauma center and magnet hospital.
• These positions are for intermediate care RN's for Grant Medical Center or Medical Surgical RN's.
• Candidates must be willing to work any intermediate care units within Grant Medical Center and must be willing to float to MS/Tele units if booked intermediate or work MS/Tele exclusively if submitted as such.
• Candidates must have experience working in a fast paced environment and be able to provide maximum flexibility and dependability.
• Units can contain some insulin drips and cardiac drips as well so experience with both will be needed.
• The ratio will typically be 1:3-4 for intermediate care units.
• MS units average 1:5-6 depending on unit and patient acuity. EMR is epic.
