Compensation: Licensed Salary: $70,000.00 ($33.65/hr) + Benefits! Under Supervision Salary: $65,000.00 ($31.25/hr) + Benefits! FLSA Status: Non-Exempt or Exempt (Depending on if Licensed or not)

Additional Compensation: Along with our great benefits we also offer additional compensation for working outside of normal business hours! These shift differentials are stacked on top of your base pay when working evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays.

Job Description

Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC) in Norman, Oklahoma, is seeking a dedicated Licensed Behavioral Health Professional who is passionate about helping individuals achieve recovery, wellness, and long-term success. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with our multidisciplinary Specialty Courts Team, providing clinical expertise, advocacy, and support to individuals involved in the treatment court system.

What You'll Do:

• Lead weekly pre-court staffing meetings and provide updates to the Specialty Courts Team regarding participant progress, needs, and treatment recommendations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary Specialty Courts staffing and court proceedings, offering clinical recommendations and advocating for participants' treatment and recovery needs.
• Facilitate weekly therapeutic groups designed to support participant engagement, skill development, and recovery.
• Conduct regular and as-needed clinical assessments to ensure individualized treatment planning and appropriate levels of care.
• Collaborate with treatment providers, court personnel, and community partners to promote positive outcomes for participants.
• Provide services and support to a high-risk, high-needs population with complex behavioral health and substance use treatment needs.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed: Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be a practitioner with a license to practice in the state issued by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LBP, LADC, LADC/MH)
• Under Supervision: Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field; and must be actively and regularly receiving board approved supervision, and extended supervision by a fully licensed clinician if board's supervision requirement is met by the individual is not yet licensed, to become licensed by one of the following licensure boards: Psychology; Social Work (clinical specialty only); Professional Counselor; Marriage and Family Therapist; Behavioral Practitioner; or Alcohol and Drug Counselor. About this Facility

COCMHC was opened in 1968 and was the nation's first community mental health center. It was funded through a federal grant program that has resulted in similar facilities throughout the country. Built on the premise that people suffering from mental illnesses would be better served in the community as opposed to an institution, the center has played a pivotal role in restoring the lives of countless area residents. COCMHC was awarded a CARF Three-Year Accreditation for the following programs: PACT (Program of Assertive Community Treatment), Evaluation and Referral, Adult Outpatient, Team Green PSR (Psychiatric Rehabilitation), Systems of Care and Transitional Services, and Child and Family Services. COCMHC is located in Norman, Oklahoma and employs approximately 95 individuals from Norman and surrounding communities.
