Occupational Therapist (Acute Care)

Location: Brownwood, TX
Salary: $77,000 - $87,000 per year
Sign-On Bonus: $17,500
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 for applicants relocating 200+ miles away
Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift (Monday to Friday, plus 1 Saturday per month)

Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as an Occupational Therapist in acute care. In this role, you will evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs for patients, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Youll also oversee and delegate tasks to licensed occupational therapy assistants, technicians, and other support staff. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and deliver personalized treatment programs based on occupational therapy principles.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Delegate and supervise tasks assigned to assistants, technicians, and support staff.
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment and maintain accurate documentation in computer systems.
• Provide care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout treatment.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Licenses/Certifications:
• Valid license to practice Occupational Therapy in Texas (or eligibility for licensure).
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid Texas Drivers License (for individuals designated as drivers per policy).
• Skills:
• Proficiency in using computer programs for documentation and patient records.
• Familiarity with rehabilitation equipment.
