The Role: Location: Louisville, KY Assignment duration: ASAP through December 2026 (opportunity for extension) Physician License is required. Shift Type: M-F, 8a-5p. Regular Hours: Required. Call Requirements: Weeknight call 5p-8a (APPs take first call); Weekend call 1:6 rotation, 24hr call for ECMO/VAD/Transplant. Cases: Inpatient management of the cardiovascular ICU; ECMO procedural and patient management; VAD implantation/management; heart transplant candidacy screenings/referrals; consultation to ED/IP for heart failure patients. Minimum Years of Experience: 3 (current/3+ years heart failure experience; case logs required) Board specialty must match practice setup to apply.
