Sales Representative

Location: Bainbridge, NY

Compensation: $35,000 annual base salary plus commissions.

Guide customers from initial contact through a clear, well-managed sales process. This Bainbridge-based role combines telephone, email and video conversations with customer-site appointments and field activity. Build product knowledge through onboarding and sell within the scope of your training. Work across IGS service lines as training and assignment allow, including solar, heat pumps and related building-improvement services.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunities through prospecting, referrals and assigned leads; qualify customer needs and arrange the next conversation or meeting.
• Conduct discovery by phone, video and in person, and gather accurate property and project information.
• Complete trained site-assessment tasks and submit quotation requests to engineering; present approved proposals and financing information.
• Follow up, address questions, coordinate contract completion, and maintain accurate CRM records with clear next actions.
• Coordinate the handoff to operations and stay involved through the customer walkthrough and completion of the sales process.

Qualifications

• Clear communication, organized follow-through and a consultative approach to customer needs.
• Comfort with both office-based communication and customer-site work, including travel within the assigned territory.
• Ability to learn product knowledge, use CRM tools, maintain accurate records and work toward agreed performance expectations.
• Relevant sales or customer-facing experience is useful; do not replace product training with unsupported technical or financial claims.
