Registered Nurse - Med-Surg

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 19:00 - 07:00, rotating weekends

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Med-Surg to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical-surgical setting, demonstrating strong clinical skills and a capacity to care for adult and geriatric populations. This role involves managing a patient load of up to 1:6 and working collaboratively with the nursing team to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Assist with patient assessments and care planning.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote effective patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in a Med-Surg setting.
Current BLS certification.
Ability to float to different areas as needed.
