Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II)If you'd like the chance to make your mark with the world's largest equipment rental provider, come build your future with United Rentals!As a Mechanic - Pump (Service Tech II) within the Fluid division at United Rentals, you'll use your skills to perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment in a safe and professional manner. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of pumps. Every day, you can improve and challenge yourself, and if you have the desire and ambition, you'll have the potential to work towards higher level Tech roles in our Service Department. Like every member of our team, we will rely on you to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.What you'll do:Perform service documentationTrain lower level TechniciansDemonstrate equipment for customersTravel to customer sitesOther duties assigned as neededRequirements:High School diploma or equivalent3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining pumps of various sizes, capacities and manufacturersKnowledge of construction equipmentStrong mechanical background knowledge particularly with various enginesBasic understanding of schematics and diagramsOwn the tools applicable to positionSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.Why Join Us?We don't just "talk the talk!"
