Dining Room Server Benefits A competitive compensation and benefits package Ongoing, professional training A 401K plan Tuition assistance Responsibilities Serve food and beverages to residents and guests, answering questions about the menu and making recommendations. Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware. Clean tables after residents and guests have finished dining. Perform general cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, tidying up server station, and taking out trash. Assist with special events and social hours. Keep current with state and facility required annual training. Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Able to read, speak, and understand English at a 12th grade level or higher. Licensures and Certifications Current First Aid and CPR certifications preferred. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Able to lift, push, pull, and/or carry up to 25 pounds without assistance. Able to hear, speak, bend, stoop, stand, reach as needed. Able to walk up and down four flights of stairs. Able to carry out responsibilities according to company or state guidelines and with limited or no supervision. Other Requirements Able to stay beyond scheduled shift in the event of an emergency or inclement weather. Must never have been convicted of a felony related to the theft or illegal sale of a controlled substance. No person working in a Residence shall have been determined by an administrative board or court to have violated any local, state, or federal statute, regulation, ordinance, or other law reasonably related to the safety and well‑being of a Resident at an Assisted Living Residence or patient at a Health Care Facility.
