The Waters care model is based on the principles of integrated nursing that provides resident care, assisted with designing and fulfilling care based on an individual's resident assessment, and leads teams of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in the provision of excellent care.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program requiredLicensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in in good standing by the state in which the community is located required or ability to obtain licenseExperience with general nursing and elder care requiredQualifications:Working knowledge about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the RN or LPNKnowledge of medication administration and performance of treatmentsPossess compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in elderly careAbility to teach policies/procedures under appropriate directionAbility to function as a primary caregiver and perform duties of unlicensed team membersAbility to maintain information as confidential and privateAbility to remain calm, kind, and patient during difficult circumstances and emergenciesAbility to set appropriate boundaries in working with residents and their families while simultaneously being approachable and empathetic The Waters is an equal opportunity employer proudly committed to a diverse workforce.
