What You'll Do

Our CVTs are actively involved in patient care and medical procedures, including but not limited to:

• Veterinary medical knowledge including diseases, vaccines, and preventative care

• Client service and client education

• Venipuncture & catheter placement

• Restraint of cats and dogs

• Intubation

• Anesthesia induction & monitoring

• Dental prophylaxis

• Dental & whole-body radiology

• Cytology

• Patient care and treatment

• Cleaning and maintaining a safe, organized clinical environment

• Heavy lifting as required

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Current Illinois Certified Veterinary Technician license in good standing

• Excellent client service and communication skills

• Strong veterinary medical knowledge and technical abilities

• A team-oriented attitude

• Compassion for both pets and their people

Preferred:

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience

Schedule

Full-Time: 4 days per week
Part-Time: Part-time opportunities also considered
