Service Sales Representative 4

Job Summary Field Sales Representative, Electronic Services Responsibilities Manage the entire sales process: uncover opportunities, develop solution/value proposition, prepare designs, create contracts, negotiate terms, close opportunities, and provide ongoing customer service through service delivery. Work with sales, technical, design engineering, service, support, and management teams to meet customer needs. Assume account representative/account management responsibilities, including coordination of installation, customer training, and ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Quickly identify and qualify opportunities using excellent sales, presentation, and closing techniques. Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to communicate company product offerings. Conduct building surveys to support estimate development. Maintain an active proposal backlog to support sales plan objectives. Develop financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and follow up to close sales. Investigate and resolve customer issues regarding delivery dates, billing, financing, and related matters. Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales‑related activities. Perform market investigations within assigned territory to develop new applications and provide sales forecasting. Qualifications Highly self‑motivated and success driven with a strong focus on customers. High energy level and strong desire to succeed; self‑discipline. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to persuade and close sales. Ability to obtain required licenses for national, state, and local codes. Minimum two years of successful sales or technical experience with fire alarms, security control, monitoring, or similar industry, or equivalent technical experience and/or education. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Engineering. Ability to obtain NICET certification within the first 12 months of employment. Experience working with electrical contractors and ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. Computer experience with Word, Excel, job costing systems, Microsoft, and Oracle programs. Compensation HIRING SALARY RANGE: $61,400 to $92,225 (Salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and market data.) Competitive Sales Incentive Plan based on volume and margin on projects, quarterly, and annually.
