We currently operate a physical store in Fullerton, CA as well as an ecommerce business, where we bring our skincare curation to life through personalized service, community events, and authentic connections. With our successful flagship in Fullerton, CA, we just expanded our presence with a brand-new store at the Beverly Center mall in Los Angeles! About the job We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our LA team! As a member of our team, you’ll be the face of SoKit Beauty — welcoming customers, sharing your skincare knowledge, and creating an exceptional in-store experience. You’ll help customers discover products that fit their unique skincare needs, assist in hosting engaging in-store events, and bring SoKit’s fun, approachable brand energy to life both in person and on social media. This role is perfect for someone who’s passionate about skincare, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and loves connecting with people. You’ll play a vital role in shaping the customer experience at our store, while also contributing to creative content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram that showcase SoKit’s personality and community. Understands the business priorities, is proactive, a self-starter, anticipates what is needed, and drives the execution. Understands small business settings and adapts quickly Is passionate about beauty and skincare, especially Korean skincare. Has retail, sales and marketing experience, and can strategize and execute on retail sales growth strategies. Is comfortable on camera and excited to help create engaging social media content. Is friendly, approachable, and outgoing — you thrive in social settings and enjoy hosting or working at events. Is a team player who’s proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented. Can work weekends and have a flexible schedule. Is looking to grow with a small, fast-paced company that values creativity and initiative. We’ll count on you to: Retail sales and operations Deliver exceptional customer service — warmly greet customers, understand their skincare needs, and recommend the right products. Build lasting relationships and drive sales through product knowledge and engagement. Maintain a clean, inviting, and visually appealing retail space. Learn about the brands and ingredients we carry to confidently educate customers. Support in-store events and pop-ups — from setup and promotion to creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere during events. Manage and fulfil online orders Manage inventory, restock shelves, and maintain product displays. Provide customer feedback and insights to help improve our retail experience and product selection. Assist with in-store and online marketing efforts and help create or appear in TikTok and Instagram videos. Contribute creative ideas for social media content that highlights our products, store experience, and events. Is open to take on additional marketing responsibilities when not assisting retail customers Compensation Rate starts at $18/hour Opportunities for performance-based raises, and additional bonuses for meeting sales goals Free skincare and/or makeup products periodically Paid parking (for LA) Employee discount on SoKit Beauty products.
