Materials Handler

Overview As a Material Handler , you’ll get to operate some of our heavy equipment and monitor the quality of its operation. You will efficiently load and unload the heavy equipment with lumber while maintaining safety and top quality. This role is vital to keeping our operation running at the highest productivity! Pay Rate: $28.00/hr. - $32.00/hr. Shift(s): Monday-Friday6:00am – 2:30 pm Location: 1650 Salem Industrial Dr Salem, OR 97301 What You'll Do The Material Handler will be responsible for operating saws and resaw machines and having knowledge of all machine controls Set up machine changeovers, as needed Follow all safety rules and procedures, as required. What You'll Need High School Diploma or GED Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality Ability to communicate effectively Ability to work overtime as needed What We Offer Competitive Pay, Holiday Pay, and Daily Pay – Access to your earned wages before payday!
