divh2Relief Registered Nurse - Crisis/h2pThe primary purpose of the RN position is to provide general health care, training and education to clients in a clinical environment. This position is expected to behave with professionalism, empathy, and positive regard for others in verbal, written, and non-verbal communications. The goal is to promote trauma informed practices, provide suicide safer care, and foster a supportive and welcoming environment that promotes racial and health equity. This position calls for strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team and with both internal and external stakeholders. This position is under the administrative supervision of the program manager or practice manager at the RNs primary work site. This position is under the clinical oversight of the programs designated RN Supervisor. This position exercises moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment./ppRegular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule./ppIntegral Care employees are to strive to maintain a trauma sensitive workplace, to embrace trauma sensitive and informed practices, and to foster a supportive and welcoming environment of care./ppKnowledge, skills, and abilities:/pulliKnowledge of the Nurse Practice Act/liliKnowledge of community services and resources applicable to the target population/liliKnowledge of nursing techniques and procedures./liliKnowledge of substance abuse treatment options suitable for target population./liliSkill in health curriculum development./liliAbility to communicate effectively with diverse cultures and socio-economic populations on various sensitive matters, developing health-centered service relationships with clients./liliAbility to provide clinical training to other nursing staff personnel and/or Phlebotomists./liliDosage calculation for medication./liliComputer skills necessary to complete documentation utilizing appropriate automated system(s)./li/ulpLicense:/pulliCurrent and valid drivers license and a clean driving record./liliLicensed as an RN in the state of Texas./li/ulpExperience:/pulliOne to three years experience providing direct care for active substance abusers, mentally ill, or developmentally or intellectually disabled individuals./li/ulpWorkdays: As needed./ppWorkhours: As needed./ppSalary: $45.58 - $58.12 an hour, depending on licensure.
