DWK also offers products and services (vials, ampules, stoppers, septa, seals, caps, bottles, tubes, flasks, and value-added services) to customers seeking packaging solutions.Revenue streams are driven by three primary channels: Global distributors, National distributors, and Direct field selling efforts.DWK supports four primary market segments: Laboratory, Pharmaceutical, Analytical Sciences, and Industrial glass.Benefits include:401(k) with a 75% match of your first 8% deferredMedical (including prescriptions), Dental & Vision InsuranceShort and Long Term DisabilityCompany Paid Life and AD&D InsurancePaid Vacation12 Paid HolidaysPosition SummaryThe position is responsible to accurately, consistently and safely follow directions involved in receiving, storing, retrieving, picking, loading and shipping materials from the 1501 N. 10th Street.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the FollowingOperates various pieces of warehouse equipment including daily maintenance and inspection.Maintains inventory control records over every product movement – receipts, shipments, transfers within the warehouse from one location to anotherAccurately identifies and receives product into inventory locations.Accurately identifies product to be picked from a pick list.Accurately picks, packs, palletizes, wraps and tags orders.Accurately returns product to proper inventory locations.Moves and stacks ware for the purpose of conducting physical inventory.Assists in physical inventory and cycle counting as directed.Observes safe product handling techniques.Performs cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.Loads or unloads trucks or trailers from other facilities or vendors.Operates all equipment in a safe and professional manner, while completing tasks on a timely basis.Keeps work area clean and well organized and assists in keeping entire facility in the same condition.Works within the guidelines of ISO and EHS.Understand DWK Quality Policy and relevant Quality Objectives.Recognize his/her contribution to the effectiveness of the OPS including the benefits of improved performanceComprehend the impact or effect of not conforming with OPS.Observes all safety precautions, rules, and regulations.Other duties as assigned.Education and/or ExperienceHigh School diploma or GED equivalent preferredTwo (2) years experience driving various types of forklift equipment in fast-paced, high volume warehouse preferred.Familiar with warehouse operations: receiving, shipping, stock storing & retrieval and associated paperwork.SkillsGood written and verbal communicationBasic reading and math skillsAbility to work in a team based environmentAbility to follow written and verbal instructions/proceduresWork Environment / Conditions / Physical Demands:Ability to physically pick stock from floor rack locations, lifting heavy boxes (approx max wt 70+/- lbs.) and pallets on a continuous daily basis
