Are you passionate about animal care and ready to take the next step in your veterinary career? Coral Ridge Animal Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Technician to join our team. You’ll assist in delivering exceptional medical care, support our doctors and licensed technicians, and help create a positive experience for both pets and their families.

Primary Responsibilities

●     Assist veterinarians and licensed technicians during exams, treatments, and procedures

●     Safely handle and restrain animals for exams, blood draws, and treatments

●     Prepare exam rooms, treatment areas, and surgical suites

●     Monitor patients and report observations to the medical team

●     Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital

●     Record accurate medical notes in Cornerstone

●     Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients about patient care

Qualifications

●     1-2 years of experience in a veterinary or animal care setting preferred

●     Knowledge of basic animal handling and medical procedures, anesthesia, dentistry

●     Excellent communication and teamwork skills

●     Compassionate, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new skills

●     Enrollment in a veterinary technician program or interest in becoming licensed is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

●     Pay Range: [$23- 30/hour], depending on experience

Hours of Operation & Scheduling

●     Our hospital is open Monday to Friday  from 8 to 6, Saturday 9-1

●     This position typically includes 40 hours week
