Now Hiring: Experienced Dental Assistant
Santa Monica & Los Angeles, CA
Our growing, patient-focused dental practice is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. We have opportunities available at both our Santa Monica and Los Angeles office locations .
We are looking for a dependable, motivated, and team-oriented Dental Assistant who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a modern, fast-paced practice.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a wide variety of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards.
- Take digital radiographs and intraoral photos.
- Fabricate temporary crowns and other temporary restorations as needed.
- Make high-quality temporary crowns that are functional and esthetic.
- Take impressions
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout procedures.
- Educate patients on post-operative and oral hygiene instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes.
- Assist with room turnover and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
- Work collaboratively with doctors and the administrative team to provide an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Current California Dental Assistant certification
- Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience preferred.
- Experience assisting with restorative, crown and bridge, extractions, root canals, implants, and surgical procedures.
- Ability to fabricate high-quality temporary crowns independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
