Radiation Therapist - Radiation Therapy Tech

Radiation Therapist Oncology

Schedule: 40 hours per week

Assignment Details:

• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week
• Daily caseload: ~25 patients per tech

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience
• CA State License
• ARRT certification
• ARRT (T) certification
• BLS certification
• ARIA skillset
• Siemens CT experience
• Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging and External Beam Therapy/IMRT recommended

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and treatment delivery.
• Maintain accurate treatment logs and patient records.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and standards.

Compliance / Notes:

• 2 references covering 1 year of work within the last 3 years required during compliance.
• Must have the required state license at the time of submission.
• Candidates must disclose prior work at related facilities if applicable.
• May be required to work on holidays as designated by the facility policy.
• Scrubs provided by the facility.
• Facility-paid parking available.
