Sleep Direct Support Professional

Devereux New York is looking for a Sleep Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and support to children and adults with developmental disabilities while sleeping overnight at the assigned location in Somers, NY. Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily activities, including health and personal management, personal goal attainment, and household living. Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment that meets the physical, emotional, and personal needs of program residents. Respond to the needs of residents during standby periods and be available for support if required. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred. One year of relevant experience preferred. Valid NY driver’s license. Flexible, patient, energetic, creative, and humorous. Strong passion for working with and helping children and adults with special needs. Location Summit Circle IRA, Somers, NY Salary $16.00–$18.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
