Social Media Producer

Wonder Valley Projects

Company Description Wonder Valley Projects is a social storytelling studio that combines narrative craft and technology to build persistent, participatory worlds for mission-driven organizations and original IP. The studio works across three pillars: consulting on community worldbuilding for organizations, researching and designing new storytelling mediums with relational AI characters, and developing Wonder Valley USA, a multi-platform immersive narrative rooted in a novel-in-progress and a future physical destination in the Mojave. Across all work, content, community, and platform are treated as a single craft, with AI used as a structural force multiplier and medium of participation rather than an extractive tool. The studio operates in three states and works transparently, testing new approaches in public and openly acknowledging when something does not work. Role Description This is a temporary, hybrid Social Media Producer role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, with some flexibility for work from home. The Social Media Producer will plan, produce, and publish social content that supports Wonder Valley Projects’ studio initiatives and client engagements including community worldbuilding, Lab research, and the Wonder Valley USA narrative. Daily work includes developing content calendars, scripting, shooting and editing short‑form video, crafting posts and threads, and coordinating visual assets for multiple platforms. The role also involves community engagement, including moderating discussions, responding to comments, and helping design participatory formats that turn audiences into active contributors. The Social Media Producer will collaborate closely with studio leadership to align social storytelling with broader narrative arcs, track performance, and adjust tactics based on data and qualitative feedback. Qualifications Social media production and management skills, including experience creating platform‑specific content (e.g., short‑form video, posts, stories) and managing calendars across multiple channels. Content writing and editing abilities, with strength in crafting clear, engaging copy and adapting tone and voice to different projects and audiences. Visual storytelling and basic design skills, such as familiarity with video editing tools, image editing software, and formats optimized for major social platforms. Community‑building and engagement experience, including moderating online spaces, fostering respectful dialogue, and designing interactive or participatory content. Comfort working with emerging technologies and AI‑enabled tools, with curiosity about new storytelling mediums and willingness to experiment and iterate in public. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a hybrid environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex ideas and collaborate effectively with a small, creative team. Relevant experience in social media, digital storytelling, content production, or related fields; formal education in media, communications, arts, or similar disciplines is beneficial but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Wonder Valley Projects
