Work Environment\n

This full-time LCSW position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, allowing for a structured yet flexible work rhythm. While the primary duties will be fulfilled remotely, occasional evening or weekend hours may be necessary based on the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical support to students exhibiting symptoms of major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs.

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other stakeholders to create a supportive and nurturing environment for students that encourages mental wellness and academic success.

• Participate in team meetings to align on common goals and share insights, reflecting a commitment to teamwork and collaboration.

• Practice cultural competency when interacting with clients and their families, embracing and respecting a wide range of traditions, beliefs, and interpersonal styles.

• Adhere to the professional ethical guidelines and organizational standards of Nurture Mind and Soul, maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all client interactions.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills and apply new techniques to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on students within the school system who are facing various mental health challenges. You will work closely with children and adolescents experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral problems, aiming to empower them through effective therapies and ongoing support. Your role is crucial in facilitating their emotional and psychological growth, thereby enhancing their academic and social experiences.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with valid clinical licensure as an LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
