We’re looking for an experienced Supervisor Overwrap to join our team. Location: Durham, NC Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7pm-7am 2,2,3,2 rotation) FLSA Status: Hourly Non-Exempt Pay & Benefits: Competitive Compensation + Comprehensive Benefits Package Summary The Supervisor, Overwrap is responsible for leading daily operations within the Overwrap department while ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently, and according to customer specifications and quality standards. This hands‑on leadership role provides day‑to‑day direction, coaching, and support to production employees while partnering with leadership and cross‑functional teams to achieve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery objectives. What You’ll Do Lead daily Overwrap production operations and support department performance goals. Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop production team members. Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and customer requirements are achieved. Monitor productivity, downtime, waste, efficiency, and operational performance. Support employee onboarding, training, and ongoing development. Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain production reports and communicate operational updates to leadership. Support preventative maintenance and equipment reliability initiatives. Collaborate with Quality, Shipping, Inventory, Production Coordination, Facilities, IT, and Operations teams. Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve quality, efficiency, and productivity. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, security requirements, SOPs, and ISO standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment. What You’ll Bring Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, packaging, printing, or production environments. Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience required. Experience working with overwrap, packaging, or finishing equipment preferred. Printing industry experience preferred. Lean Manufacturing, 5S, OSHA, ISO, or continuous improvement experience is a plus. Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of overwrap production equipment and processes. Excellent leadership and employee development skills. Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and decision‑making capabilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead in a fast‑paced production environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production management systems. Strong customer‑service and results‑oriented mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and efficiency. Basic mathematical proficiency.
