Job Summary Presbyterian is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team. As an RRT, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders, helping improve patient outcomes and enhance their quality of life. Type of Opportunity: Full time, 0.90 FTE, Job Exempt: No, Work Shift: Nights. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $27.92 – $42.63 per hour. Initiates ventilator protocols and implements and coordinates ventilator management. Performs advanced airway care, including tracheotomy changes, extubation, and intubation. Initiates and monitors high‑frequency ventilators. In the NICU: performs surfactant delivery, intubation, attends high‑risk deliveries, and may serve as transport team, intubation and backup charge therapist. Initiates and monitors nitric oxide delivery. Performs department‑specific functions as detailed within the summary of the department‑specific duties. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC) certification Respiratory Care Practitioner Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Six months to one year of critical care experience preferred.
