Physical Therapist

About the Role The Physical Therapist will provide clinical care and worksite support to improve patient outcomes and employee health at client locations. Key Responsibilities Administer physical therapy treatments including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education. Conduct thorough assessment, develop goal‑directed treatment plans, and document progress in the electronic medical record. Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure appropriate follow‑up and specialty referrals. Supervise and direct PTAs in accordance with professional guidelines. Teach in‑home therapeutic exercises and stretches as part of the treatment plan. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including infection‑control compliance. Develop professional knowledge through continuing education and evidence‑based practice resources. Provide injury prevention education, worksite assessments, and ergonomic consulting to client worksites. Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and Marathon Health leadership regarding patient goals and care plans. Attend center training sessions and contribute to policy updates within Marathon Health. Schedule follow‑up appointments, screenings, and tests for client company employees. Assist in outreach efforts targeting employees at high risk of chronic diseases. Required Qualifications BS, MS, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university (CAPTE). Current state license to practice physical therapy. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a licensed physical therapist. Current BLS certification. Proficiency in clinical documentation using electronic medical records, meeting state, federal, and APTA guidelines. Outpatient experience with adolescent and adult populations. Ergonomic training, certification, or experience is a plus. Desired Attributes Excellent presentation skills and ability to educate diverse audiences. Comfortable working independently and with minimal supervision. Professional communication and collaborative relationship building with patients, clients, colleagues, and management. Compensation Pay range: $57,000 – $75,000 per year (.6 FTE). Actual offer may vary by location and experience.
