Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and surgical team in complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
• Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterilized and prepared for procedures.
• Monitor and maintain aseptic techniques to prevent infection.
• Participate in patient care planning and support dual call teams on weekends for cardiac and vascular surgeries.
• Utilize charting systems like Epic for documentation and maintain accurate patient records.
• Adapt to scheduled shifts including required calls and weekend rotations.

Qualifications

• Current AHA BLS certification and DORA issued state license (pending acceptance allowed with proof).
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience.
• Proficiency in using Epic charting system.
• Experience with cardiac and thoracic surgery including robotic surgery systems.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends to meet unit needs.
