Functional Family Therapist

The Functional Family Therapist provides in-home Functional Family Therapy (FFT/FFT-CW) to youth and families to reduce family conflict, strengthen protective factors, and prevent out-of-home placement. Services are delivered in alignment with the FFT model, philosophy, and fidelity standards. We are looking for a Functional Family Therapist who must have: Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field. Two (2) years’ experience providing family-based or in-home clinical services. Strong interpersonal, engagement, and crisis intervention skills. Valid Florida driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation. Job duties and responsibilities include: Deliver weekly, home-based, family sessions using the FFT or FFT-CW model. Maintain a caseload of up to 12 families, serving each for approximately 3-4 months. Participate in the 24/7 crisis support rotation, providing phone-based assistance and coordination for families experiencing urgent needs. Assess, plan, and intervene using FFT principles: engagement, motivation, behavior change, and generalization. Participate in weekly supervision and team consultations with the FFT Consultant and Program Director. Maintain accurate documentation and timely data entry in CSS. Represent the FFT program in community outreach and partnership activities. Collaborate with referral sources, schools, courts, and community providers to support treatment goals.
