Job Overview A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in St.Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate will be adept in courtroom proceedings and client interactions, handling high‑stakes divorce cases with professionalism and empathy. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence with minimal revisions. Develop and execute case strategies, identifying issues and mapping resolutions. Manage mandatory disclosure and discovery efficiently and on time. Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to maintain case progress. Requirements Admitted to practice in Florida. 3+ years of litigation experience in family law and/or criminal law. Reside within 30 miles of downtown St.Petersburg (on‑site role). Strong legal research and writing skills; proficient in Westlaw or Lexis. Proficient with Microsoft Office, cloud tools, and open to using AI responsibly. Effective communicator with clients, courts, and team members. Capable of critical thinking, strategic problem‑solving, and handling challenging conversations. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Florida. Skills Legal research and writing. Case strategy development. Client communication and courtroom advocacy. Collaboration with legal support staff.
