This is not simply our job, it's our passion.Job SummaryTo provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with OOMB Policies & Procedures to maximize guest and colleague satisfaction by providing clean, perfectly tailored uniforms, also attending to occasional guest requests and urgent needs in the field of tailoring.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesTrain new tailors to perform tailoring dutiesOver sees all the tailoring projects and ensure all projects are completed on timeProducing new uniforms when required for the team members and new hiresMaintain the stitching accessories (threads, buttons, needles etc.) at par level at all timesOrder supplies as neededMaintain and service the machineries periodicallyOrder and maintain the stock of team slippers, shoes and other uniform related accessoriesClean, arrange, and maintain the tailoring room and storage areaClean, arrange, and maintain the Uniform room and Uniform escalatorUpdate and maintain the uniform issued records monthlyCount and update uniform status of all departments monthlyRepair any torn or damaged linen and uniforms regularlyRepair/alternate guest cloths upon requestRe-generate replacement linen from soiled and damaged items, for example, cleaning rags from damaged towelsCarry out repairs on soft refurbishing to extend the life of such items where possibleMinor repairs of curtains and drapesReports any loss or damage of uniforms, fixtures, equipment as well as maintenance deficienciesAssists with inventory of material and uniformsAttend unexpected requests such as special stitching to functionsResponsible for always maintaining correct safety measures and storage proceduresAll other duties as assigned by leadershipSkills, Experience & Educational Requirements• High School Diploma. • Must be skilled to perform the job of a Tailor. • Must know how to measure and cut dress (Trousers & Shirts). • Must have the basic Knowledge of material, embroidery and tailoring machines. • Must have a minimum of 5 years job experience in a five-star or higher category resort as a tailor. • Must have worked 2 years as a tailor in a 5 star and above resort property.BenefitsMedical insurance - 80% of premium paid by employer Health Savings Account with $50 employer contribution per pay period Dental, vision & life insurance - 100% of premium paid by employer 5 weeks of PTO (Paid Time Off) 8 paid holidays Uniform provided & complimentary laundering Complimentary transportation to/from resort Complimentary meal per shift Subsidized housing based on availability Discounts at F&B outlets on property 14 nights per year at $100/night* at Kerzner Properties worldwide Winter season includes complimentary ski pass to Big Sky Resort based on availability OR $225 reimbursement towards gym membershipPhysical RequirementsThe ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation.
