Senior Application Analyst — Epic Beaker/EpicCare Link

Abbott seeks a Senior Application Analyst to design, configure, and support Epic Beaker and EpicCare Link systems for cancer diagnostics. The role involves system upgrades, end-user support, mentoring junior analysts, and collaborating with stakeholders to align technology with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimation of enhancement and support requests; guide workflow design and system configuration
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide end-user support; liaise with business stakeholders and software vendors
• Mentor junior analysts and delegate configuration activities; act as delegate for applications manager during incidents
• Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance business workflows through technology
• Participate in training, testing, and cross-functional team collaboration; maintain documentation and quality compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field; or high school diploma with 4+ years relevant experience
• 5+ years developing or configuring technology solutions in application analyst or project delivery role
• Subject matter expertise in patient identification, revenue cycle, CRM, patient registration, or lab order entry workflows
• Epic software application certification or ability to obtain within 8 weeks of hire
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Current Epic Beaker CP or EpicCare Link certification preferred
• Additional Epic certifications such as Genomics, Aura, AP, Ambulatory, or Orders preferred
