Injection Molding Process Engineer

Position Overview The Injection Molding Process Engineer will develop, implement, and support injection molding processes to meet quality, cost, and delivery goals. The role includes creating detailed manufacturing instructions, control plans, and testing procedures, as well as validating tools and equipment in a regulated environment. Responsibilities Develop injection molding processes and detailed manufacturing work instructions, set‑up/change‑over instructions, control plans, and testing procedures supporting FDA requirements. Assist in validation of injection mold tools and equipment and maintain FDA‑compliant documentation. Perform product/process analysis to drive quality improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency. Coach, train, and guide molding technicians to enhance knowledge and skills. Build relationships with key team members and project managers, participating in project plans. Coordinate validation efforts with tool manufacturers and customers. Obtain Master MolderII credentials and maintain certification. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. 3–5 years experience in plastic injection mold processing within a heavily regulated environment. Knowledge of design and production methods and material selection. Track record of managing time and projects while meeting aggressive schedules. Experience with FDA or other regulatory compliance is desirable. Benefits 3 weeks paid time off after first full year. 10 paid holidays per year.
