SENIOR PASTOR SOUGHT

Ascension Baptist Church · Gonzales, Louisiana

Ascension Baptist Church is prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor called by God, grounded in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, and ready to shepherd a faithful congregation into its next season of Spirit-directed growth.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold to and lead in alignment with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000

• Bring 10 years minimum of proven pastoral ministry experience

• Preach the Word with clarity, conviction, and life application

• Demonstrate a genuine heart for youth, young families, and the next generation

• Lead with vision while serving with pastoral humility and care

• Engage the surrounding Gonzales community as an active mission field
