You will closely collaborate with correctional staff to provide continuity of care, contacting practitioners to obtain necessary orders. Throughout the day, you will administer prescribed medications and treatments, while also performing vital sign checks, triaging officer intake screenings, and offering emergency first aid care if needed. You will diligently record care information, maintain patient confidentiality, and help educate patients on facility policies and discharge planning. By coordinating with multiple medical services, you will ensure that all patients receive the appropriate diagnosis and treatment, all while adhering to strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
