Details Medicine unit within a hospital setting 38-bed unit caring for cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and substance abuse patients, as well as medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders RN-to-patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends PCT-to-patient ratio of 1:10 13-week assignment at 36 hours per week Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Requirements Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) required Telemetry Med/Surg unit experience required IV skills required Comparable facility size experience required Additional Information Provide care to patients with complex medical and psychiatric comorbidities on a telemetry-monitored medicine unit Holiday coverage required on an every-other and as-needed basis Local candidates accepted at the same rate American Traveler Job ID P-750377.
