This is a contract position for a dedicated professional ready to support a caseload of 14 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
• Experience teaching at the high school level preferred
• Ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
• Comfort teaching in both general education and self-contained classrooms
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and differentiated support to students with diverse learning needs
• Develop, adapt, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Maintain clear and open communication with families and staff regarding student progress
• Support students’ academic, social, and behavioral growth
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local special education regulations
