About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years License: South Carolina OR Compact Nursing Licensure Certifications: BLS, Clienttion badge needs to be provided by parent company Must-Have: Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology experience preferred. Description: Position: Ambulatory Operating Room Registered Nurse. Shifts available include 3x12 or 4x10. Days are from 6:30 AM to 5 PM. One late week per four weeks to complete cases. No weekends are required. On-call requirement: No. Possibility of floating within the perioperative facility based on facility needs. Block schedule accommodation is at manager's discretion. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Experience in handling various surgical procedures including total joint replacements, laparoscopic cases, and ophthalmology surgeries is preferred. Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, they may be assigned to emergency response teams. All request for time off must be included at the time of submission. If a candidate is a clinical pass, they may be offered if they have 7 days or less of non-holiday time off. Candidates with pending licenses must provide proof of application or confirmation of the South Carolina walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report until the South Carolina license is active. Previous permanent staff must be separated from the system for one year before returning as a traveler. Modules related to compliance must be completed before starting.
