Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Route Inspection in Kent, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. This driving position requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and uphold our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
