Work Environment You will work in a dynamic, onsite rehabilitation center that promotes collaboration and communication among healthcare professionals. Our workspace is designed to create a supportive atmosphere where therapists can thrive and provide individualized care. Our schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life environment. Key Responsibilities Assess and evaluate the physical needs of patients through initial consultations and regular progress evaluations. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that leverage evidence-based practices to restore mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance overall physical function. Administer cost-effective therapy interventions aimed at improving therapeutic outcomes and patient satisfaction. Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring a typical load of one patient per hour to deliver focused, attentive care. Create tailored fitness and wellness programs based on individual patient evaluations, chronic conditions, and goals for recovery. Emphasize non-surgical treatment alternatives, reducing patient reliance on medications and promoting a natural healing process. Foster patient motivation through encouragement, support, and education about their conditions and the rehabilitation process. Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports through EMR systems such as WebPT. Continuously monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, making adjustments to treatment protocols as needed. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily serve orthopedically focused patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury rehabilitation, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain management. The diverse patient demographic in Hialeah provides an exciting blend of cases, allowing therapists to utilize a wide range of modalities and interventions that enhance patient recovery. Qualifications A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) is required. A valid Florida state license to practice as a Physical Therapist with no record of disciplinary action. Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design and implement effective exercise programs. Experience using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT for documentation and patient management. Preferred Experience While all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply, we prefer applicants with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings. Compensation and Benefits The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
