Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 26-week correctional healthcare contract in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. One opening is currently available.

Gross Weekly Pay: $2,566

Taxable Rate: $33.00/hour

Weekly Travel Stipend: $1,246

Overtime Rate: $50.00/hour

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Contract Length: 26 weeks

Schedule: 5x8 Days

Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM

The $1,246 weekly travel stipend is tax-free for eligible travelers who meet applicable tax-home and IRS requirements.

THE ASSIGNMENT

Provide essential registered nursing care within a secure correctional healthcare environment in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, responding appropriately to changes in condition, providing nursing care within the correctional setting, and managing multiple clinical priorities independently.

This assignment requires correctional experience or experience working in a similar high-pressure healthcare environment, along with strong assessment and response skills.

Requirements

• Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license REQUIRED
• Experience working in corrections or a similar high-pressure environment REQUIRED
• Strong assessment and response skills REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities REQUIRED
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening REQUIRED
• Ability to work the 6:00 AM–2:30 PM day shift REQUIRED

Preferred

• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in corrections, mental health, or emergency settings
• Prior mental health or behavioral health nursing experience
• Knowledge of correctional facility protocols
• Bilingual abilities
• BLS or ACLS certification
