Description: This position is for an ambulatory infusion pharmacist. The role focuses on order review, verification, preparation, and dispensing of hazardous and non-hazardous medications. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of infusion experience. No first-time travelers will be accepted for this position. Weekend work is not required. The pharmacist will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. It is essential to adhere to safety protocols when handling chemotherapy and hazardous drugs. The pharmacist will engage in patient care activities and support oncology and infusion care for patients. Modular training will be part of the onboarding process to familiarize with facility-specific protocols. Candidates should be prepared to manage high-impact situations in a fast-paced environment. This position is crucial in ensuring safe medication management and delivery for patients in need of infusion therapy.
