Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Mid Shift Coverage | Every Other Weekend & Holiday Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined 38-bed Emergency and Urgent Care department treating 140–180 patients per day
• Perform triage for both walk-in patients and ambulance arrivals in designated triage bays
• Manage and monitor common drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, diltiazem, amiodarone, nicardipine, and norepinephrine
• Draw labs and coordinate with support staff including techs, paramedics, and respiratory therapy as needed
• Monitor patient cardiac rhythms using GE monitors throughout the department; no dedicated monitor techs on unit
• Care for a diverse patient population including chest pain, sepsis, abdominal pain, syncope, elevated heart rate, headache, and psychiatric/suicidal ideation patients

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current PALS certification
• Current TNCC certification (ENPC encouraged but not required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience strongly preferred
• Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center experience preferred
• Pediatric emergency nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records system preferred
