RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Radiology Technologist for a contract assignment at Prestigious Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey.

Job Functions:

• Shift and hours: Full-Time (40 hrs/week). Day shifts run between 9:00 AM - 7:30 PM (specific shift times to be discussed during interview).
• Perform high - quality diagnostic imaging by properly positioning patients and adjusting equipment according to physician orders
• Set up, operate , and maintain rad iologic equipment in alignment with all safety, policy, and procedural standards
• Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients to ensure comfort, understanding, and cooperation
• Assess and maintain patient safety, physical comfort, and emotional well - being throughout the imaging process
• Apply rad iation - safety best practices to minimize exposure for both patients and staff
• Ensure equipment readiness, troubleshoot issues, and support smooth daily workflow
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental operations

Job Requirements:

• ARRT (R) - Required at submission
• BLS - Required
• ACLS - Must obtain by start date and confirm at submission
• Minimum 1 year of IR experience preferred
• Must be able to scrub cases and assist interventionalists
• NJ State Radiography License
  • Can submit without license
  • Typically obtained within 1-2 weeks
