About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar setting required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Epic charting experience required Description: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a 36-bed telemetry and surgical floor. Candidates must have 2 years of experience with BLS certification. Epic charting experience is required for this position. Candidates should have experience managing a patient ratio of 6. Skills required include accessing and managing ports, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration. Experience with colostomy and ileostomy management, central line blood draw, and telemetry monitoring is essential. Candidates must be proficient in hemodialysis management, IV starts, and wound care. Interdisciplinary support services include physical therapy and respiratory services. Floating may be requested based on facility needs. All units require specialty experience within the last year. Documentation of NIH and stroke education is required.
