Test Technician

Summary: Perform a variety of engineering technician work in test, verification, troubleshooting, and repair of all QuEST Rail Products to meet customer expectations which include both external and internal customers. Preferred Educational Experience: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Preferred Work Experience: Preference would be given to individuals possessing a minimum of three (3) years experience in testing area. Especially in areas of electronic sub-assembly testing, troubleshooting, repair, and technical reports. Essential Functions:
• Setup and complete product validation testing according to specifications, drawings and other expectations.
• Estimate cost for tests and equipment as required
• Create and maintain schedules for required tests
• Create detailed test reports that can be used by QuEST Rail and customers
• Maintain a library of test reports
• Design and build engineering verification and production test fixtures to ensure quick, repeatable, accurate testing in the lab and on the production line.
• Recommend product improvement opportunities
• Utilize project management tools on projects to serve as a planning and progress monitor
• Coordinate lab work with other departments as required
• Coordinate resources to keep tests running continuously when required
• Work with customers as required Non-Essential Functions: Perform all other tasks as assigned. Qualifications and Desired Skills

• Data entry
• 20% of the time sitting
• Some bending/stooping
• Lifting less than 35 lbs
• Climate controlled environment
