Position Details Location: ASC - Mesa, AZ 85206 Position Type: Per Diem Pay: $65.00 – flat rate Overview Tri-City Cardiology is seeking a Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist to join the ASC team. Position Summary This position operates imaging equipment and performs specialized radiographic procedures as ordered by the physician and in accordance with department/facility policies and procedures. Essential Functions Performs diagnostic and/or interventional radiographic procedures per physician order. Assists with acquiring and preparing products during procedures based on physician needs and orders. Prepares radiographic equipment prior to exams. Maintains a safe working environment and minimizes radiation exposure to patients and staff. Contributes to and maintains inventory management. Demonstrates professional behavior and fosters teamwork; maintains accountability for ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities including confidentiality of patient information. Educates patients/families regarding exams to be performed. Operates radiographic equipment appropriately and troubleshoots or notifies appropriate resources for equipment maintenance. Participates in quality improvement related to patient safety and care. Provides clinical care instructions in an operating room environment when applicable. COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement This position is located at the Tri-City Cardiology Ambulatory Surgery Center and falls under CMS regulations. Proof of full vaccination is required prior to the first day of employment. Exemption requests for medical or religious reasons may be submitted to HR for review, with appropriate medical provider documentation.
