We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.
• Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, fuel systems, tires and other components.
• Conduct inspections to identify equipment deficiencies and recommend repairs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve problems efficiently.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs when necessary.
• Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• Diesel Mechanic (ASE, OEM, or equivalent certification preferred).
• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of diesel repair and maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and diagnostics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and repair procedures.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification.
• Experience working with commercial fleets and heavy equipment.
• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Familiarity with fleet maintenance management systems.
