Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist II Acute - Mint Hill Medical Center Schedule: 36 hours/week | Thursday/Friday/Saturday (could do Sunday instead of Saturday, if needed) | 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM with rotating call. Qualifications ARRT (R) or (N) or CNMT certification required (must obtain ARRT (CT) within 6 months of hire). Prior acute care experience preferred. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Associate Degree preferred. Experience: One year experience in CT preferred. Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center‑certified and registered by ARRT in CT – RT(R), RT(N) or CNMT at time of hire; must obtain certification within 6 months of hire. Additional skills: Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt procedures based on patient age, ability to interpret information and prepare patients for procedures, operate CT equipment. Responsibilities The CT technologist II Acute assists physicians in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the CT equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in a regional multi‑ICU trauma medical center. Responsibilities include inpatient, outpatient, emergency department & operating room procedures such as biopsies, drainages, cryogen, spinal injections, cardiac and trauma procedures.
