About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Duration: 2 years Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 13 Experience: Minimum of one year of registered nursing, or equivalent education in nursing License: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Client or holds privilege to practice under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Must-Have: Valid motor vehicle operator license may be required Description: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse with experience equivalent to one year of registered nursing. Education equivalent to a bachelor's or graduate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, or a diploma in registered nursing from an accredited school of nursing is acceptable. Responsible for registered nursing duties of average difficulty based on a wide range of circumstances. Performs nursing care and procedures according to physician's orders and nursing protocol. Administers medication in accordance with physician's orders and protocol. Evaluates possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication. Performs BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR, and other emergency responses. Participates in emergency response settings. The end date is set for two years; however, this is subject to nursing needs and may change at any time.
