Job Summary:
The Infusion Nurse position is located in Brunswick, Maine. This outpatient infusion center role involves administering chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments to outpatients. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license to practice in the state of Maine. The position requires prior experience in outpatient infusion settings and involves working daytime shifts.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: RN License to practice in the state of Maine; minimum of 2+ years of experience administering chemotherapy/immunotherapy in an outpatient infusion setting.
• Schedule: Days, Monday through Friday, 0745 - 1630, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Must be willing to work as a team, demonstrate excellent communication, and focus on providing quality, patient-centered care. Experience with peripheral IV skills, central line care, medication administration, and blood transfusions is required. Chemotherapy/immunotherapy administration and an active ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification are preferred but not required.
• Position Description: This role involves supporting outpatient IV therapy in a setting equipped with 21 infusion spaces, serving an average of 46 patients daily. The nurse will work with various treatment modalities, ensuring safety and comfort during procedures.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Flexibility and professionalism in attire are expected, with scrubs preferred other than hospital-issued scrubs. The candidate must be reliable, adaptable to shifting priorities, and dedicated to quality patient care.
