Organization Laboratory - Clinical Job Summary Day shift 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. SBB preferred but not required. Must have a working understanding of medical technology and the ability to recognize problems. Good communication skills. Able to work well under high stress. The patient care provider will have knowledge, training, and competence relevant to the age groups served (neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics) and be able to obtain and interpret information, understand growth and development, and know the range of treatments needed for these patients. Responsibilities Work with manager to enable the team to optimize operational processes and meet quality performance standards within the Laboratory service. Participate in employee selection, ensure staff are trained and competent, identify training needs, and provide feedback for performance evaluation. Assist with developing and implementing a quality control/assurance program, including proficiency testing and peer review standards. Maintain all required activities and documents to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards applicable to the laboratory.
