Overview:

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, chains, sensors, switches, and other components.
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, control panels, and industrial equipment.
• Assist with installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential equipment or safety concerns.
• Complete maintenance work orders and accurately document repairs.
• Maintain tools, parts, and maintenance work areas.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO).
• Work closely with production employees and supervisors to reduce equipment downtime.
• Assist with general facility maintenance as needed.

Skills and Experience:

Qualifications

• Previous industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, and industrial machinery.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand, bend, climb, and lift throughout the shift.
